As we have mentioned before, the Breckenridge, Colorado PRCA ProRodeo will take place in Breckenridge every Saturday and Sunday from August 4th -September 2nd, 2012 in a specially-constructed arena in the Airport Road parking lot on the north side of town.
On September 1-3, 2012 Labor Day Weekend,enjoy cool summer temperatures and exciting events like the Summit Foundation’s Rubber Duck Race, Sidewalk Sales on Main Street, the Gathering at the Great Divide Arts Festival, a Wine Festival, the Breck Crest Trail Marathon and more.
Here is the schedule for Breckenridge’s Labor Day weekend activities:
September 1, Saturday – The Summit Foundation Great Rubber Duck Races, f eatures over 10,000 little rubber ducks competing for prizes from Maggie Pond down the Blue River to the Riverwalk Center.

The Gathering at the Great Divide Art Festival, a 36-year tradition, includes over 100 exceptional artists at the Wellington Lot. The Great Divide Art Festival will occur on Saturday and Sunday, from 10 am to 6 pm, and on Monday 10 am to 4 pm.
Breckenridge’s 18th annual Oktoberfest, on September 14-16, 2012, includes a fun-filled weekend of fall foliage, great parties, Paulaner Bier, genuine German cuisine, collectable steins and special accommodation packages.
Munich meets Breckenridge on Friday, Saturday and Sunday when Main Street closes and comes to life as a street party with traditional costumes, German food, Oompah and polka music, Bavarian dancers, children’s activities, a keg-tapping ceremony, 5k run and more!
The Main Street Party features more than two dozen food vendors, lots of dancing and a weekend of fun. Due to the extensive food and beverage offerings. Don’t forget your ID though, these beverages are alcoholic and they will making sure that people are of legal age.
