Ice Trekking Excursions on the Perito Moreno Glacier

If you visit Argentina's glacier country, plan to do so between October and April so that you can go trekking on the Perito Moreno Glacier. Otherwise it would be like visiting Paris and skipping the Eiffel tower and the Louvre. The Perito Moreno Glacier is 80 km from El Calafate, the nearest town where you will most likely be staying. Tell Us About Yourself.......
World traveler and entrepreneur. I've pretty much seen everything when it comes to travel, good and bad, luxury and sub-economy. After many frustrations with online hotel booking sites, my wife and I decided to stop complaining and start our own website. Our goal was to create an intuitive interface allowing the user to virtually explore a country with a few mouse clicks, and book accomodations and tours on the spot without filling out email forms and having to wait for an answer. For now we focus exclusively on Argentina.
