Tweet Travelers Guidelines

Please read the important guidelines below. If you notice anything in violation of the guidelines, please report an issue. The goal of Tweet Travelers is to connect travelers. Connecting with travelers helps like-minded travelers connect with each other. The goal is to share and post subjects pertaining to TRAVEL. Get To Know Other Members- Add members that you would like to know more about their travel destination or join discussion board that you are interested in pertaining to TRAVEL. Absolutely No Solicitation Under no circumstances should you contact another member asking for money, help, or offering products or services -- this includes friend requests and comments left of member walls. If you have a cause or organization you'd like people to donate to, you can post a Discussion in the Forum, or you make post on your Personal Blog, however you should never approach another member for any sort of loan or to ask them to give you money for your personal use. If we get complaints from other members that you have done so, your account will be removed. WEBSITE, Twitter, Facebook and other links- We do allow you to add your website link and Twitter or Facebook page but all post must be related to Travel specific subjects. **If you need to make a complaint that a member has solicited you for a loan or money for personal use, please contact us to report the issue. This is Not a Dating Site If you're looking to find a date, or a mate, or anything of that sort, this is not the place to do it. No erotic, suggestive, or pornographic content will be permitted. It is inappropriate to use this site as a way to make romantic connections. There are sites designed for that, please use them, and do not behave as if this is one of those sites. If you do, we will remove you from our membership. This site is intended for travel industry professionals and travelers that enjoy traveling to discover new places. Rated PG-13. Please be sure that all posts made on your Personal Blog, as well as any and all comments and discussion threads you post remain at a PG-13 level. This includes text, video, images and any other content you may add or upload. . No Inappropriate Content. Please keep all content you post in the public forum focused on the topic of travel in general and your experiences as they relate to traveling. Content that is NOT APPROPRIATE on TwitterTravellers includes, but is not limited to, advertising, material copyrighted by someone who isn't you, any content that is vulgar or obscene or contains adult themes or images, including sexual commentary or imagery. Abusive language, name-calling, insults, harassment, spamming, flaming, baiting and/or personal attacks will not be tolerated. Further, members are prohibited from making posts or comments that encourage this type of behavior. Tweet Travelers reserves the right to take appropriate measures, including deleting content, blocking any member from posting to our site and/or revoking the membership for any behavior we determine to be damaging to our community. Age Limit. We’re thrilled to see so many young members taking part in the challenge. However, according to Federal Law, no person under the age of 13 may sign up for an account on any Tweet Travelers network. We reserve the right to remove and ban any member we find to be under the age of 13. Parental Responsibility. If you, as a parent or guardian, choose to involve any child under the age of 18 on this website, please be aware that you are responsible for the safety and security of your child, as well as remaining vigilant to what he/she may read on the site. While we monitor posts as closely as possible, we cannot guarantee that we have caught 100% of any offensive content. Guard Your Personal Information. Tweet Travelers is a Public Network. Non-members have access to reading posts and profiles on our site. Any adult person is eligible to join this network. We highly discourage members from posting personal information such as telephone number, home address, or other specific information which may make your location easily discovered by others. If you’d like to share such information with other members, we advise you to do so with great forethought and caution, and only via the private messaging system. Be aware that Tweet Travelers cannot be held liable or responsible for any damages incurred as a result of sharing said information. This site is user generated so we are not responsible for members or their website link listings. We do not allow abusive remarks about other travelers and content must be focused on traveling around the world. Any abusive language against other travelers will be removed from site. Respect your peers — Treat others and their contributions with respect and foster considerate dialog. Do not use offensive language — Inappropriate, crude, or abusive language is not only unacceptable, it’s not a good way to convince anyone of your point. Any posts that contain such language will be deleted.(Note: Posting profanity in a language other than English is also unacceptable and it will be removed from site)  * Users may only use one sign up per user unless approved by TwitterTravellers.com.  * We DO NOT allow spammers to ask people to contact them if they do not know them.  We will REMOVE all spam post that are not related to travel.
