Guide To Getting Started On Tweet Travelers

Thank you all for becoming a member of Tweet Travelers.  We have officially changed our name to Tweet Travelers as well as all of the graphics.  First, I want to express my gratitude to all of you that have already been submitting photos, travel blogs, videos and more.  They have simply been amazing and I have learned so much from each of your travels.  

Tweet Travelers is dedicated to bringing travel related bloggers, travelers, hotels, vacation rental owners, travel related companies opportunities to grow your travel brand or share your travels through social media.  We are also working on mobile/online networking opportunities.

Members of Tweet Travelers, have their own travel social profile page, can submit photos and videos, as well as take part in travel discussions, forums and submit content to be used on the home page and for other travelers to read.  We have also add a "LIKE" button that will go directly to your FACEBOOK page. Also, there is a "Tweet" button in the right side column that goes to Twitter.  Each month we will send out top blogs, featured photo, top discussions and more.  The next one will be sent out the first week of March.  We really want you to have a great travel social network experience with passionate travelers and help grow your travel brand.

I wanted to send out a few tips to help each of you maximize your Tweet Travelers social travel page.

How To Get Started?

All submissions on Tweet Travelers must meet the following requirements:

1. Adding any content must be travel related  

You can add your photos, videos and blog post directly from your "MY PAGE" link.

Submitting Video

To submit video:

1. Head to the MY VIDEO > Video area.

2. Select the +Add Videos from here you can follow the onscreen instructions.  You can embed your YOU TUBE code to area.  Videos will also randomly be selected to be featured on home page.

Submitting Photos To submit photos:

1. Head to the MY PHOTOS > Photos area.

2. Select the +Add Photos from here you can follow the onscreen instructions.  *  We periodically check photos for featuring.  If we feature your photo we will also add the name of your website on home page or your latest project with your photo.

Submitting Blog Post:

1. Go to MY Blog  and Add Blog

Simply post your travel writings in the blog located on your profile page. We periodically check blog posts for featuring. On blog link you can also embed links to your website, photos and more.  Any travel information that you can add from personal travel stories to things to do would be fantastic.  We have really had amazing blogs featured over the last few weeks!

 Tips:  You can add a lot of extra apps on your page from RSS feeds, e-mail sign ups, newsletters, etc.  You can be as creative as possible and send your travel page to friends as well as invite friends to join your page.  You can also utilize it as an extra extension to a brand as a social network marketing tool.  If you are a travel and tourism company you can add comments from customers, travel ideas, etc.  

YOU can also add your RSS feed if you have a travel blog.  Right now we can only feature blogs that are added into your blog post from your MY PAGE but your RSS Feed of your blog can be on your page!  

And, finally Add friends and Share your travels.  Right now we have a very dynamic group of passionate travelers and experts in the field of travel.  You can virtually learn about every country from our powerful travel network.
